tripleS (트리플에스) debuted on February 13, 2023 under MODHAUS as a ten-member girl group, releasing the mini album ASSEMBLE and title track "Rising". What distinguished tripleS from the outset was not just their personnel but their structural concept: MODHAUS designed the group around fan participation, with audiences voting on sub-unit compositions through digital collectible cards called Objekts. The result was an unusual ownership model for K-pop, where fandom engagement shaped the actual creative output rather than merely responding to it. The group expanded progressively as new members were revealed throughout 2023 and into 2024, completing the full 24-member OT24 lineup with the addition of JiYeon in April 2024. The complete group made their OT24 debut on May 8, 2024 with the studio album ASSEMBLE24 and its title track "Girls Never Die" — one of the most discussed K-pop releases of the year for both its scale and its long-gestating build. tripleS's multinational composition is exceptional even by K-pop standards: alongside their Korean members, the group includes Japanese members Mayu, Kotone, Kaede, and Lynn; Chinese member Xinyu; Taiwanese-Vietnamese member Nien; and Thai member Sullin. The group's rotating sub-unit system has generated a substantial body of work across multiple configurations. In the K-Pop Atlas graph, tripleS represents the 5th generation's most ambitious experiment in rethinking the relationship between artist, label, and audience — a model that used decentralized participation not as a marketing layer but as a genuine structural feature of how the group was organized and deployed.
